Chingri maachh with lots of Jeera

Chingri Machh with lots of Jeera

A new Mall has opened in our town which is witnessing a boom of these malls. What’s so special about this one is that it sells stuff at wholesale prices. So I went to explore and was delighted to find this wonderful prawns labeled as Lobsters. I tried out this recipe from Bong Mom’s cook book. Guddu had understood the recipe even to the slicing of potatoes. It was finger licking delicious.

It was done with lots of jeera and tomato puree.

Please note my cacti being grown in an old terracotta pot that once upon a time was used to set curd. And do not miss the smile of anticipation in little son’s face.
